About the owner

Annette Benyamin founded Pimlico Place on Oakland's Piedmont Avenue in 2002, following her long career as an interior designer.

In 2022, she relocated to sunny Palm Springs, where she continues to provide unique offerings to a city known for design.

Her studies began in fashion design and culminated with a degree in interior architecture from London. She has always had a love for fashion and design, with the belief that accessorizing clothes and a room share the same elements: color, scale, and most importantly, client’s preferences.

Her training and experience are now applied to clients’ selection of the perfect jewelry, purse, or wrap to complement their garment, or by adding the finishing touches to their rooms with lighting, pillows and more.

Her international travels enable her to curate collections of the latest in fashion and home accessories, as well as an eclectic selection of vintage and antique pieces. While searching for new merchandise, she looks not only for what she likes, but also, with list in hand, to fulfill clients’ specific requests. She values her relationships with her clients, and over the years, many have become close friends.

Her life is further enriched by two grandchildren and devoted family.
